Interesting Stories about Persephone:

Hades abducted Persephone and took her to the underworld. After much protest, Persephone came to love Hades but her mother, Demeter, was anger and extremely sad. She demonstrated her anger by punishing  people with bitter cold and blustering winds. Hades and Demeter made a compromise after Persephone ate a pomegranate seed. They agreed that Persephone would to spend part of the year with  Hades and part of the year with Demeter.
